Big Boss season 4 - Dolly bindra and Shweta cat fight

When we thought that Khali is going to bring ultimate khalbali in big boss house we never knew that there was much more to come.Dolly bindra joined Big Boss as one of the participant.

I had seen Dolly Bidra (the woman  or man what ever she is ) in some of the comedy serials before and she came across  as a funny and easy going person to me .Later there was some controversy where she said that Raja chaudhary (Shweta ex husband ) tried to misbehave with her(I wonder what happened to Raja eyes ) but  according to Shweta they both got drunk and Raja slapped her.

It seems that the only reason why she came to big boss to insult Shweta as much as possible.Dolly  has been lying that her affair with Abhinav is all over media and that certainly is not true.Shweta is intelligent and she didn't believe her at all.

                     Dolly Bindra and Bobby darling - I hope they both are not a couple :D:D

But yesterday hell broke out when both woman started abusing each other,  though Shweta did abuse her later but it was completely provoked  by Dolly.Woman  is looking for cheap publicity and she is beating all the records of Rakhi sawant and Sambhawna seth now.
Even Veena Malik is no less .She will be all nice in front of shweta and behind her back she provoked Dolly.She did the same between Sarah and Shweta also .


I know its a reality show but Big boss should understand this that people who are living there are human being. Troubling them and creating minor problem is fine but sending  people who need to be in mental hospital rather than a reality show is certainly not a good step.
Incident has created lot of publicity of Big Boss and it is all over in media and newspaper too but what Shweta went through is something very disheartening and I feel sorry for her.

QVS eyelash curler VS Audrey's eyelash curler (Product review)

Good morning beauties, 

So after all the celebration its time to get back to something which we all are obsessed about and that is BEAUTY ::D:D.Sorry I couldn't post my Karva chauth pics because at the end of the day I was too tired and hungry for all the camera work.Will try doing the eye makeup look again because that was something which I really would like to show you people too.

Eyelashcurler - I have long eyelashes and thanks to almond oil which I use to apply daily during my college days.Now they are really long and I have stopped using the oil because I fear that I may end up making pony tails of my eyelashes :D :D if overuse it.

I swear by eyelash curlers they too really open up the eyes .Even if you are not fond of using mascara then use eyelash curler to enhance your eyes.

Few months back I got QVS eyelash curler .

   

Price of QVS eyelash curler is Rs 250 -300

(I don't remember the exact price now )
    
    What I liked about the QVS eyelash curler -

1. This is extremely light weight so those who are new in using curler can try out this one as you won't fear taking this near to your eyes.

2. Curls lashes from the middle and outer corner too.

3. It is rustproof .I have seen some of the inexpensive steel curlers getting rusty but this one doesn't.

This product claims to suits all eyes shapes and accentuate even the smallest lash to highlight your eyes.

What I like about the eyelash curler

1. Decently priced and curl middle lashes beautifully.

2. I have it since two months with me and there is no rust and it is in the same condition as before.

Best eyeslash curler ?

So both the products pretty much do they work perfectly but when I compare them I found this.

1. QVS curler is made for those who have thin and fragile eyelashes.Those who have long and thick eyelashes may not see much difference.It would be better to use Audrey's eyelash curler if you have thick eyelashes .

2. QVS eyelash curler is light weight where as Audrey's eyelash curler is quiet heavy in comparison to it.

3. As QVS is light weight and therefore it is easy to roll up the corner eyelashes with it.

4. Chances of QVS curler getting rusty is quiet less as compare to Audreys.


My  view - 

We Indian have pretty much thick and long eyelashes and therefore to see the best effect Audreys is a good choice.Still if some body has thin and fragile eyelashes then try QVS eyelash curler,  it will be easier to work with it.

- There are some  girls who even heat up the curler with a blow dryer and then use it to curl their eyelashes.I have thought of doing it many times but some how never muster up the courage to actually do it.Have you tried that ?

Exercise & a conscious are necessary for weight loss. Exercise is nothing but physical exertion of the body. 'Losing Weight' need not be a monotonous task. It can be turned into an activity which you look forward to.
A basic guideline for 'Weight Loss Program' include :

Keep checking your weight at regular intervals to track your progress.

2. Set your goals & Chalk out a plan  (Weight loss goals)

Now that you know your ideal weight as per height, prepare a plan on the type and level of exercise to be adopted, time to exercise, diet plan. Set your goals. Losing weight is not a one time 'project' but a continuous one. It is not simply 'numbers' and regular workouts need to be coupled with a healthy diet plan for a healthier living. 

Let goals be realistic based on your physical characteristics. You certainly cannot adopt the same one your friend has set. Also let it be specific & not vague such as 'I want to lose weight'. But instead say 'I want to lose 3 kgs' and so on. It helps to write it down somewhere where you can view it regularly and be reminded of it. A goal need not be only to lose the excess weight but also to maintain your current weight. Consult your nutritionist if not sure.

To begin with, you could aim for 30 mins of exercises 3 times a week and then increase it to 5 times a week. You could then gradually increase to an hour of exercise as per your level of fitness and type of workout adopted.

The ideal time to exercise would be early morning when there are fewer interruptions and are more likely to stick to your exercise regime. To be noted is that glucose levels in the body are low early morning (after your night fast) & the body  burns the stored body fats. In  the evening your blood sugar levels are higher (after your meals) and hence your body will burn calories from carbohydrates consumed rather than stored fats.  From point of view of losing excess fat, morning would be the best time.

3. Time is NOW 
Procrastination will not fetch you anything beneficial. Start your routine TODAY. Exercise can be fun too. It is a great stressbuster. Modern living brings with its cons – sedentary lifestyle, junk food which leads to a host of lifestyle diseases. Remember that 'time constraint' cannot be given as an excuse to avoid physical activity. Inactive lifestyle can increase your bad cholesterol (LDL), lead to heart diseases.

4. Motivation & Discipline :(Weight loss motivation)

For first few days we may be enthusiastic to engage in workouts but gradually this declines and you find yourself back to where you started. If exercise is so important in maintaining health & fitness, why is that so few people succeed in keeping at it? Here the key lies in 'motivation'. Staying motivated is necessary for weight control. 

I have seen many cases were people workout regularly until their target is reached and then go back to their old habits. This will eventually once again lead to weight gain. Then it is not so easy to lose weight all over again. It is okay to indulge and reward yourself sometimes but should not become a habit. When you feel the need to indulge in junk food unnecessarily, think of yourself when you were overweight! 

Exercise need not become monotonous but can be a fun activity. You can do 2-3 different forms of exercises to avoid boredom. Listen to music as you exercise or watch a movie as you workout on the treadmill. This will help you to stay motivated. Music is said to create harmony and relaxes the mind.
When you look at yourself in the mirror, have a positive opinion of yourself. Do not put yourself down by constantly saying how fat you are and so on. But instead on a positive note say how good you look after you have begun your regime. A positive outlook is also necessary to motivate yourself.

2. It decreases blood pressure, reduces risk of heart diseases, strengthens the heart.

5.  It reduces bad cholesterol & maintains body weight.

Mehndi design this Karva chauth 2010 and mehndi tips

This is for Sonia, Priyanka, Uzma and every one who wanted to see the mehendi design colour.Though right now I am really hungry and its blogging only which is keeping me engrossed. On top of that  HD had gulab jamun in lunch..:(( I told her to keep the  fast for Ranbir kapoor but she doesn't listen to me D::D

Three simple ways to make sour cream

Home made sour cream is getting  popular in India as this is quiet quick recipe to make when you have unexpected guest at home.I first thought of buying sour cream from supermarket but when I didn't get them easily here I stopped thinking about them.

Few months back their were some five - six recipes which were publishes in Times of India newspaper in which I tried three.Sharing them with you.They are quick and simple to make and once you make it it becomes a must have thing in your kitchen.


   How to make sour cream at home

Sour cream recipe 1 

Take 1 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup butter milk in a jar and cover the jar up .Keep this mixture at room temperature overnight so that it thickens up.Let the sour cream get chilled before you store it in the fridge.

Sour cream recipe 2 -

Take a food processor and add 1 and half cup cottage cheese, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice and 2 tbsp of butter milk.Grind all the ingredients till they become thick and smooth.Let the cream get chilled before storing it in the fridge.

Sour cream recipe 3 -

Take 11/3 cup of soft cream cheese and add 1/2 cup water, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 1/24 tsp white pepper and 14tsp of salt.Mix all the ingredients together and chill them before storing it in the fridge.

Always store  sour cream in an air tight container.

You can have the cream with mashed potatoes, salads and in your beauty recipes and have them with baked potatoes as well. It brings wonderful flavor and textures in many dishes.
