Nail paint remover - Revlon extra fast nail enamel remover (Product review)

I have always been using Lakme nail remover or Colorbar nail polish remover but as I have started doing nail art quiet frequently I thought of buying Revlon nail remover this time.

This is an improved version of nail remover which claims to quickly remove nail polish and protect nails too.



Cost of Revlon extra fast nail enamel remover is Rs115 for Rs 30ml


Key ingredients - Acetone and Fragrance

My experience with the product -

This nail enamel doesn't leave any whitish  residue after removing nail paint from my nail.It doesn't dry my nails and removes polish easily unlike my previous nail polish removers.

Though as far as nail protection is concerned I have almost completed the bottle but I don't see any protection as such.It certainly won't help in preventing your nails from breaking .

All in all it is a nice product in terms of nail polish  remover is concerned.Much better than my previous nail remover which I have been using.

Migraine – 5 Migraine headache symptoms and remedies

Hey everyone!!!
 I am discussing something which has affected my life a lot and that the evil is Migraine headaches. Migraine headaches are ferociously painful. I just cannot function during my migraine attack. Those who might be suffering from the problem can very well understand it. Many a times during the attack I have lock myself in a dark room and prayed to God for the pain to get over.

 I did research on this and found few things which I would like to share on Wise  She.

Types of Migraine

All Migraine causes pain but different verities cause other symptoms as well. There is a Classic migraine which causes auras which is strange visual changes that can make you see sparkling or flashing lights or zig zag lines. Those who suffer from this type of migraines may develop blind spots and are often intensely sensitive to light. This usually begins about half an hour before the pains sets in, and then it disappears.
Some people like me suffer from common migraines in which I suffer from emotional changes which includes depression before attack.

Then there is third type of migraine called the complicated migraine which is a combination of classic and common migraines.

Migraines can be extremely serious as well and doctors usually treat them with powerful drugs but there are few things which can be done at home to prevent the pain.


 Cold water splash

When you have first sign of attack, splash your face with cold water and then apply an ice pack wrapped in towels to your head. After this lie down in a dark, quiet room. The ice will act to constrict blood vessels, reducing irritation of nerves in the head.


Sleep 

My Dr. Always advise me to sleep to stop the migraine but the problem is that it is not easy to sleep when you are in pain but some time I do manage to do that. So it is worth giving it a try. Turn out the lights, breathe slowly and deeply and try every possible way to relax. I some time to allom  vilom which too relaxes me up. If you manage to sleep then chances of you getting up pain free are quiet high.


Food that causes migraine


There are certain foods which tigers of migraine. For instance, red wine, chocolate, milk, chicken livers, hot dogs.


4.Eating nuts


Researchers have found out that people who have too little magnesium in their diets suffer often from migraines. Along with dark green, leafy vegetables and fruits, nuts are an excellent source of this important mineral which is believed to relaxes the muscles. Some of the other source of magnesium is rice, spinach, oatmeal, potatoes, bananas, beans and yogurt.


5. Stay fit and relax often – 

Those who live sedantry life are likely to have migraine more than those who stay in shape. This is probably because those who exercise are likely to have less stress. Aerobics, exercising , walking and jogging and even dancing are few activities which helps in reducing stress. One can adopt any of these activities and try to do them at least 3-4 times a week.

Try to keep yourself stress free and relax often. According to doctors it is essential to make rest and relaxation a part of my schedule.


When to see the Doctor- 

Most of us learn the best tricks to handle the migraine by just taking it easy but if your headache is accompanied by severe confusion or if it is significantly different or more severe than usual then you should call your doctor ASAP.

Nail art - Halloween nail art design

Be it my good look or bad I like  to share all on Wise She and that is why I am sharing this Halloween nail art. It turned out pretty good  but my camera is not well today :D .

I know Halloween is mostly about black and white  but I wanted purple.Why ..aiwee hee

Dark lips - Lightening dark lips with lipstick

Hey beautiful people!!!

Few days back when I told every one that I have pigmented lips no one believed me but this is true .We all have something or the other which we don't like in our self  in fact not something there are  many things :D but with herbal remedies or make up one can hide them or get rid them off.


I haven't come across any lip treatment in market which can help us in getting rid of dark lips but I know few Lipstick tricks which can make your lipstick last longer and you won't have to face that uneven lipstick color problem .This happens with people who have upper dark lips and there lower lip is not pigmented.

Here is a make up tutorial or the Lipstick trick which I follow to make my lips even .Also , those who have dark lips generally do not buy pinks and nude because they give them discolored lips .This way they can wear all the shades.

So here goes the Lipstick  tutorial

Step1 - Apply some foundation on your lips and dab them with any compact powder.Now line your lips with a lip liner. I am using Colorbar Politely pink  lip liner .It is better to use some nude shade but right now I have only this one with me.


Step2 - Fill your lips with the lip liner.This will create your lip base and your lipstick will last long.It will cover up all the pigmentation and dark lips.


Step3 - Now take any lip shade of your choice.I am using Body shop colour glide lip colour.63. Swatches here.I use this lipstick most of the time with smoky eye look.

                                                           
Step2 - Apply the lipstick and here you are with your matte lips.

Step3- If you like lip gloss then add some of it.
                                  Pink lips any one ?:D
 
Whenever I use some light shade I do not apply lip balms on my lips as the foundation and compact gets easily removed by it.
