Oily skin moisturizer - Fab India pomegranate skin hydrating cream review

We all are always trying one or the other new skin moisturizer.Call us crazy but this is what we do :D:D.A new skin care product in the market and we want to know all about it :D:D.After using Fab India vitamin E skin hydrating cream I got Fab India pomegranate skin hydrating cream for oily skin. I have been using it for a month now and I am too excited to talk about it.

I got the combo pack which comes with Fab India Pomegranate face and body gel scrub.

Cost of Fab India Pomegranate skin hydrating cream and face and body gel scrub is Rs 350

Why I was interested in buying this oily skin moisturizer because Pomegranate helps in acne prevention by destroying the root cause of acne.If we apply pomegranate juice on our acne then it helps in healing the acne and prevents scar formation as well.

Pomegranate benefits in Anti-Aging as well and repairs the skin damage so that one can get smooth skin.
 
This was the main reason I picked up the product and of course the second reason was  that  my  hunt for oily skin solution is always on.



This is what the product claims - An extremely light moisture whipped cream loaded with age controlling cellular extracts and vitamin E.It nourishes the skin and protects it from moisture loss.



Key Ingredients - Water, Aloevera ecxtract , Jojoba oil , Pomegranate oil ,Lactic acid and vitamin E Acetate.

When I apply it it my skin feels the freshness and with its mild pomegranate fragrance makes me use it more and more.

A little product goes long way  and my skin doesn't feel greasy at all.It provides apt moisturization to my skin .My skin neither feels too  greasy or too dry .It just feels as if the requirement of the moisturizer has been fulfilled for the day.

You can see below.I applied it on my hand .My hand feels soft and moisturized but there is no trace of oil or greasiness.
It gives my skin  refreshing ad soothing feeling for 3-4 hours easily.I like to use it 2-3 times a day and just tiny amount of the cream goes long way on my skin.

 Price of the product is quiet descent too .

Dislikes

 Packaging - One drop and bottle will break down.    

 Cream takes 2-3 minutes in settling down on my skin so I got to wait and me being a highly impatient person it irritates me some time.


Recommendation - I will recommend it to those who have oily skin and needs light moisturizer to hydrate their skin.Also to those who have acne problems too.

All of us know the importance of applying Moisturiser and  I guess most of are looking for best moisturizer or best face cream. I have not really used Lakme Moisturisers before but after reading good reviews in the blogs about their  Fruit range I though of giving it a try and  oh my my am I happy, let's see.

Lakme says: Experience the soft dewy texture of Lakme Fruit Moisture Peach & Plum Daily Glow Moisturiser with Sunscreens for skin that smiles with softness all day long. With extracts of Peaches and Plum this daily lotion provides 12 hr moisturisation leaving your skin soft and silken with a radiation glow. With sunscreens, this lotion also provides sun protection setting you up to fully enjoy the day.


 Usage: Smooth on a dollop of Lakme Fruit Moisturiser Peach and Plum Daily Glow Moisturiser with Sunscreens over cleansed face and neck for smooth, supple moisturized skin all day. For external use only

Price of lakme peach and plum daily glow moisturizer  is Rs. 130 for 100 ml.

Also comes in

  • 55ml for Rs. 75
  • 200ml for Rs. 210

What I liked about the product:
  • The texture of the moisturiser is light and easy to absorb.
  • It does not leave the skin greasy or oily for long hours. I apply it in the morning and  my face does not look oily or greasy even after 8-9 hours. That's a big quality of the product.
  • Smell is so good, peachy and plumy but not over powering.
  • Very good moisturiser for oily/combination skin type.
  • Did not break me out
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Quite affordable in terms of the good quality.

What I did not like about the product:
  1. The packaging. Wish it had come with an upper flip top cap.
  2. No mention of SPF content
  3. May not help people with dry skin
Overall it's a good product for oily/combination skin type.

Hair remover - Annie french roll on hair removing lotion (Product review)

Hair removal products - Though I believe more in waxing but when I am in a hurry I opt for  hair removing lotions as well. It is certainly not my best hair removal method but in emergency it works for me.This time I tried Annie -french roll on which has vitamin E moisturizer .

New roll on things looked pretty interesting to me and the shape too is cute.Older version of is now out of stock I guess.



   

Price of Annie french roll on is Rs 45  -It comes in Rs 50 ml bottle only

   Ingredients - Thigolycolic Acid, Calcium Hydroxide , Liquid Paraffin, Rose Fragrance

How to use - Take out the roll on and pour out the liquid as required.Place the roller again and spread the liquid with it.Wait for 5-10 minutes and remove the hair with the roll on.



     Consistency of the product is not smooth though it neither too thick or too thin.

My experience with the product :-

-I read the instruction like 10  times and still the roll on didn't work for me.I had to use butter knife to remove my hair.I have soft hair as I have never used any razor but still it was difficult to remove all the hair with the product.

-The smell of the product is pathetic like all annie french hair removal cream .I know this as I have used their previous products therefore can't complain much.

-I got the lotion meant for dry and normal skin therefore my skin didn't feel dry at all.

-Quantity of the product is not sufficient and as it is not smooth flowing therefore most of the product stays in the bottle itself which one is not able to take it out.I used the lotion for my leg hair removal  and found that almost all the bottle is finished.I can't think of using it for facial removal I guess neither it is advisable.

- I didn't use it for underarm hair removal either.

A painless hair removal but not a satisfying product for me .I guess their previous product was better than this one.
