Namak- pare a Salted Savoury


This is a simple snack apart from the bhajias,I make whenever it rains.

To make1 Cup

Ingredients required

Maida/All purpose flour -1/2 Cup
Salt-1 tsp( You can add according to your taste)
Water – ¼ th Cup( use warm water)
Ghee-1 tsp
Cumin seeds- 2-3 pinch

Procedure

• Put the flour in a bowl, add salt and  ghee and pour water little at a time and  mix the ingredients to get soft dough.

• Knead the dough and  cut it into two equal halves and cover them with a damp cloth.

• Heat Oil in a Non-stick deep pan or a Kadai

• Take one half and  using a belan or rolling pin,roll this into a circle about half cm in thickness , you can use a little amount of flour to sprinkle to avoid the dough sticking to the surface.

• Cut the rolled dough into squares using a knife.

• Take these cut squares & deep fry them until they turn golden brown.

• Remove these squares using a slotted spoon and place them on tissue papers for the remaining oil to get absorbed.

Enjoy this in the evenings as a snack.

You can even make a sweet savoury the same way which is called 

Shakar-Parre a typical Hyderabadi snack

with just a simple variation which is boiling sugar in water for 3-4minutes and using that to knead the dough with a pinch of salt and  avoiding cumin seeds if you don't want them.I hope you will all try this and  like it!

So at last I used my pretty pretty Faces eyeshadow.I love their cute packaging.Will review the eye shadow after using it through out this weekend.This is dramatic eye make up look which one can wear during parties or evening night out.If you are like me who don't mind wearing dramatic eye make up or smokey eye make up during the day with a nude lipstick then go ahead and try this one out.




Step2 - Applied the purple eye shadow on my half eye lid.


Step 3 - Covered the rest half with darker green of the quarte.

Step 4- Deepen my crease with the light green colour and applied a shimmery white on the brow bone.(Shimmery white was not in the quarte for that I used my Colorbar shimmer quarte.


Step5 - Applied eyeliner(Shahnaz eyeliner) , curled my lashes (Colorbar mascara)and applied mascara.Also filled my brows with MAC brow pencil and applied MAC smolder on my lower lash line.


and  I am done

Facial scrub- My oily skin can not survive with exfoliating products and using gel scrub is more fun too because I do not have worry about acne while using them. My experience with the product :-

Product works well as a face scrubber. It gently exfoliate my skin and doesn't make my skin feel greasy or dry.

                                  I feel like eating it when ever I open the tub
 Likes:-

1. The gel like substance goes well my smooth skin .

2. Decent pricing with some of the best ingredients.

3. I generally use scrub my face twice or thrice a week but with this one I almost land up using it every alternate day.

4. What makes Fab India scrubs the best facial scrubs is that they are not harsh on the skin.

5. It has pomegranate which helps in keeping pimples at bay.
.
6  I like its mild pomegranate gentle fragrance.

7.My skin appears smooth and fresh after using the scrub.

8.Makes rough skin  smooth.

I didn't use it as a body scrub because it would have lasted only for a week then. Quantity of the products is 100 ml and this way it will  lasts for one and half month easily.

Dislike:-

 1. Packaging- I kept it in my bathroom and I am always worried that it might fall  and break down.
2. I wish it could have come in a tube form rather than the tub.Scooping out products makes me feel unhygienic.

Glitter Nail Art -  I got these small cute glitter bottles for nail art some months ago but I didn't know how to make good use of them.There were nothing interesting mentioned on the packet.But today some how the idea stuck to me and I tried the glitter nail design with these bottles.

Cost of these glitter bottle is Rs 150 and I got them from Inorbit Mall Hyderabad.These are called 3D Nail Adorning Nail art

Step 1- Paint your nails black.I used Revlon nail paint for this


Step2 - Take transparent nail paint and just dab the tip of the brush on the glitter.


Step 3 - Now apply it on all the nails.


Step2 - Now with a tooth pick or nail art dotting tool and apply these dots on your nails and give them a shape of a flower.

Step 3- Take a tooth pick or a needle and stretch the flowers to the middle.This gives the dot a leaf like shape.Finish it with a top coat again and we are done
