Price of Faces velvet lipstick is Rs 249 but I got it free with their eyeshadow quartet.

It i a matte lipstick  and pigmentation is not bad.

 Quantity of the lipstick is 4.5 gm and it contains Vitamin E lipstick.When a company say that their lipstick has vitamin E in it then I expect it to be very very moisturizing like the vitamin E oil itself.What you think when you read that the "cosmetic"has vitamin E  in it?

Product Ingredients:- Castor oil, Candelilla wax, Beeswax, Lanolin, Carnauba, Microcrystallin wax, Parafin, Octyldodecanol, Methyl hydrogenated rossinate, Stearyl alchohol, Isopropyl lanolate, Methyl paraben, Ethyl paraben, Propyl paraben, Butyl paraben, BHA, Parfum, Tocopheryl acetate. May contain Mica, Silica.

 I got shade no 142 and the shelf life of lipstick is 24 month from the date you open it.So it will be in my vanity box till 2012 ..Wow !!!

 What I liked about the lipstick

 A decently priced lipstick which doesn't irritate my nose. I so like its packaging looks quiet chic when I take it out  in front of my friends  and then they ask me which lippi I am using. Also it has a transparent case so I do not have to struggle hard to choose my shades unlike many other brands.

I like the pigmentation of the lipstick because I can darken it up by re-applying it and can tone it done too  but it is little drying on my lips.I need a lip balm before applying it for sure.

It lasts easily 5-6 hours on my lips if I don't eat anything and yes the best part this lipstick will not melt in summer.

1. Faces has many many shades in these lipstick but you may not find all the shades at one counter.I don't know why .When I checked out in Shopper stop they have some different shades and when I checked at the other counter they had different.This has happened two three times with me.

2. Not very moisturizing especially during winters.

3. It doesn't give any shine or gloss to my lips.

4. They have not given any names to the lipstick.

Garnier Shampoo - I keep experimenting with shampoos and this is because I have healthy hair now and even if I keep changing shampoos every now and then I don't suffer any hair fall or hair damage (Touch wood!!!):D:D.. I have heard some mixed reviews about Garnier products so I thought of giving garnier a try this time.After all I should also have some views about a brand :D:D

I got Garnier Fructis fortifying shampoo(Fall fight) and Garnier fructis fortifying conditioner for dry and damaged hair for myself.

Price of Garnier frutis shampoo is Rs 80 (100ML) and Garnier fructis fortifying conditioner is Rs  130 (200ml)

Garnier shampoo claims to stregnthen the hair fiber from with in and works from the first application to protect hair from breakage.


Garnier Conditioner nourishes the hair from the root and hair is strengthened from with in .

Both the shampoo and conditioner contains active fruit concentrate which strengthens the hair from the roots.


                                     Both the shampoo and conditioner have creamy texture




What I like about the product:-

1. I have oily hair and it thoroughly cleans my hair .My hair doesn't get oily till one or two days which is the best part when I compare this with my DOVE shampoo.

2. Decently priced.

3. I require very small quantity of the shampoo and the conditioner and one bottle lasts long.

4.I like its packaging.

5 I have a habit of oilying my hair before shampooing and it lathers well and thoroughly cleanse my hair.Conditioner too decently condition my hair .

6.I like the mild fragrance of this shampoo.


Dislike :-

1. It doesn't cure dandruff.I won't blame it also because it doesn't even claim that.

2. It doesn't cure hair fall.(I and my husband both used the product simultaneously and my husband is suffering from hair fall nowadays and shampoo  was not much of a help)

Recommendation - If you have oily and healthy hair then you can try it.It is neither too bad nor  too great a product.
