Per diem RN Position in 15-bed Surgical ICU with a mixed population including neurosurgery, transplant, and general surgery. Utilizes the nursing process as the frame of reference for practice as a professional registered nurse and provides direct nursing care to patients, families and groups. Serves with the authority to make and is accountable for patient care management decisions relative to the nursing plan. Collaborates with other members of the patient care team to plan and coordinate patient care goals and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Recognizes patient care needs on the continuum and works to establish a comprehensive plan of care. Through efficiency and effectiveness, demonstrates competence for and supports leadership for compassionate, quality patient care.

Qualifications
1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
2. Current registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered nurse.
3. AHA Basic Life Support Certification
