U.S. scientists discovered the genetic code, the most common form of brain tumors in children.

“The good news is that for the first time we now have the gene fragments of cancer identified in childhood and found that with MD, there are only a few fragments,” said lead author Dr. Victor Velculescu professor at the University of Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of C. Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

“And this means that the potential is easier to stop and intervene,” he said, comparing the cancer train accelerated out of control.
