Nail polish remover - Lakme Spa Line Polish Off Nail Color Remover Oil review and pictures Posted: 03 Dec 2010 10:04 PM PST I need at least 2 nail polish removers every month and when I saw this product I got impressed with it because of its Acetone free formula This is basically an oil which soothes and hydrates nails and prevents nail from drying. It has sweet almond oil (ohh!!1 gosh no wonder it has to be good) which easily removes nail polish. Price of Lakme spa line Polish off nail color remover oil is Rs 115 After using this I don't get dry cuticles this, I guess, is because it has sweet almond oil in it which keeps them moisturized. Because of its Acetone free formula my nails don't break out :) I do a lot many experiments with my nail paints and therefore with shimmer, and 3-4 coats of nail polish, it becomes a little difficult to remove the nail polish but Lakme nail polish remover or I should say nail cleansing oil removes all the nail paint without much of effort. See I wanted to remove this nail paint which has 3-4 coats of other nail paints and some shimmer at its tip. I just soaked cotton in the nail polish remover and swiped it twice and my nail paint is gone and it has added some shine to my nails also. Though this shine is probably due to their oil and therefore I have to wash my hands properly after using it . My experience - I eeeeliikkkeee it Wise She Rating - 4/5 You might like reading these also Nail polish remover - Lakme nail polish remover VS Colorbar Nail polish remover |

Hello guys this is my first review on wise she and I am excited about it .Let me introduce my skin to you .I have dry skin and no matter what soap I use the result is the same DRY SKIN :( !!! ..I am always looking for a lotion which I can use after my shower and before going to bed. In lotion I look for a product that not only moisturize my skin but smells nice too. Since the time I have got St. Ives Aloe Vera and Chamomile lotion which is easily found in most of the drug store it has become my HG Price of St Ives Aloe & Chamomile lotion is Rs 290INR for 532 mlThis one bottle cover up my whole winter so I don't mind spending this much. This lotion is thick and creamy and I usually use this lotion right after taking shower. It gets absorbed easily into the skin. After application of this lotion my skin feels smooth and smell fresh.Though I am a big admirer of good smell which stays for long but this one lasts only for a while.Approximately after one hour there is barely a hint of the lotion left. Active Ingredients Water, Glycerin, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Stearic Acid, Glycol Stearate, Petrolatum, Dimethicone, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract, Promula Veris Extract, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Acetylate Lanolin Alcohol, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, DMDM Hydantoin, Aminomethyl Propanol, Fragrance, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Blue No. 1 I have no idea about the ingredients leaving beside water My experience with the product I and my mother both use this lotion and let me tell you that my mother has psoriasis and she is a testimony of this product. It leaves my skin silky and smelling fresh.I apply it on my feet as well down at night and next day they are so soft . With the help of a dispenser it becomes very easy for me to take out the required quantity which I want and there is no product wastage. I have no dislike of this product and will advise it to every one who has dry chapped skin problem.Infact I have tried many dry skin lotions but I have always come back to this one again . Body Polishing - Easy way to do skin polishing at home Posted: 03 Dec 2010 05:12 AM PST By Sunita, Your very own spa treatment!!!!Soft and glowing skin - If you have tried body polishing in a spa then you must be knowing about the nice fresh glow which body polishing gives to your skin. How about doing body polishing without spending thousands and even taking the treatment a step further from removing dead skin cells to even out your skin tone? Manual skin polishing can be done right in your home and you don't need many things also for that. Body polishing is normally done by a skin specialist who uses natural abrasive products and works into the skin with various massaging, scrubbing and rubbing motion. If done properly it leaves your skin relaxed and revitalized. This can be done at home also and it is a wonderful treatment for those who crave for baby soft skin. Following items are required for skin polishing:- 1. Polishing body cloth(The Body Shop makes a good durable exfoliating wash cloth) 2. Pumice stone 3. Pure olive oil 4. Homemade body scrub or any scrub which suits your skin. Lets start with face polish first– Moisten your skin by washing it with warm water first and use a gentle exfoilant and start rubbing in circular motion .Avoid your eye areas and if you have acne prone skin then do not be harsh with your acne.Coming to body polish – Generate some steam in your bathroom by opening hot water tap. Now rub pure olive oil all over your body and massage whole of your body for 10 minutes at least. This moisturize and condition the skin and will make polishing easier and gentle too. Now apply a gentle sugar scrub with a polishing cloth in circular motion. Now use pumice stone on rough areas such as knees, heels and elbows. Now gently pat dry your skin with a towel and apply facial moisturizer on your skin and a light body cream. When you are doing this do not go outside without a sunscreen on. You can do this twice a week for effective skin polishing. Body polishing leaves your skin energized and pampered however if you are suffering from fever or other skin related disease it is advisable to not to go for this treatment. If you have sunburn then do not consider this treatment until it is full recovered.
