After seeing so many posts from readers, I must say I couldn't resist approaching Anamika for an article by me too :P. By the time we get 30+, many of us start looking for an anti-aging solution. I've been using Bee pollen complex from past 6 months and have observed some positive signs as a result. It's one of the few supplements which provide anti-aging at a scientific level. It includes Bee pollen, Royal jelly and propolis. If you need a higher dose, you can also take them individually however I'm a bit too lazy for so many tablets.  Bee pollen: This is basically the pollen from flowers that's collected from bees as they enter their hive. Nowadays, it's also harvested by other means. Royal Jelly: Also known as the bee's milk, it's a thick creamy substance produced by the young nurse worker bees. Propolis: It's a resinous substance in tree buds which is collected by the bees. The active ingredients of propolis are antioxidants called flavonoids. Bee pollen complex helps in anti-aging in following ways – For dull and tired skin : As we grow older, our skin tends to lose its glow and looks tired. Studies have shown that Bee pollen can help with skin aging. Bee pollen actually stimulates growth of new human tissues and reduces the mortality rate of skin cells. Thus, you might be able to rejuvenate your facial tissues with Bee pollen. For weight problemsThose who've faced it will know that with age, maintaining your body weight gets more and more difficult. You tend to continuously lose weight due to loss of appetite or gain it by eating too much and no work out. Bee pollen complex helps you boost your energy. When you feel energetic, you'll naturally be more active and it will have a positive effect on your metabolism. If you need to reduce weight, you'll feel like working out and if you need to gain weight, your physical activity will improve your appetite. For lack of immunity: It's very easy to be healthy when we're young. Our immune system offers good resistance to many bacterial diseases. With age, however, our immune system plunders and viral attacks and even common cold can be a problem. Bee pollen complex contains various anti-oxidants which are beneficial for countering allergies. Some flavonoids, like Bioflavonoid Rutin has been shown to assist White blood cells in fighting off the various viruses which we come in contact with. It also contains some anti-oxidants which act as anti-biotics and hence protect against bacterial infections. With these things, you'll not find yourself falling sick easily.I think Bee Pollen Complex is a great product for those tackling with age issues. Last month I tried Biotique Berberry lotion face cleanser.I am not really into Biotique because some of their products didn't suit me much but I think some of you will agree to this that Biotique products can not be ignored.:)  Price if Biotique Berberry lotion face cleanser is Rs 135 for 120 mlWhat the product claims - A gentle, non-foaming blend of herbal extracts with natural oils that deep cleanses the skin. Contains Berberry, Red Sandalwood, fenugreek, Lodhra Bark & Almond Oil. Good things about Biotique products are:- 1. They contain no harmful chemicals 2. They claims to have no artificial preservatives 3.No cruelty test on animals 4.All biotique products preperation is envirnment friendly and bio degradable too Bad things :- They never reveal all of their ingredients  It has berberry in it which helps in reducing infection and as you must have read many times on wise she that sandalwood helps in reducing and lightning scars which are caused by pimples.It has fenugreek , Lodhra bark and almond oil which is a great moisturizer for the skin.Almond oil helps in improving complexion and helps in making the skin soft and smooth. Likes:- 1. Cleanse my skin thoroughly without taking much of my effort and time. 2. Decently priced 3. I use it to clean my make up and I am pretty satisfied with it. 4. I like its creamy texture unlike other cleanser which are little harsh . 5. Small quantity of the cleanser goes a long way and one bottles last for two months easily Dislike:- Make sure you don't let it enter into your eyes as it irritates the eyes severely. Not meant for oily skin as it may break out them Will I re-purchase - Yes , I am going to buy it. | MAX factor foundation - Max factor natural minerals foundation review and photos Posted: 04 Dec 2010 08:24 AM PST MAX factor natural minerals foundation review - I got this foundation long back when I wanted to try max factor makeup also my skin is acne prone and I though mineral foundation would be light on my skin and non- aggravating too.Natural minerals seemed to be the perfect choice :)  I got blushing beige for myself though I was not sure which one too pick up that time. MAX factor natural minerals foundation ingredients- There was nothing mentioned on its packaging that was quiet an disappointment.It comes in five shades which are 1. Creamy Ivory (40) 2. Warm Almond (50) 3. Natural (60) 4. Golden (70) 5. Bronze (80) Price of MAC factor mineral foundation is Rs 710 INR for 10gm .It comes with a nice and easy to use applicator brush |

| Nail art design- -Christmas nail art design Posted: 04 Dec 2010 05:16 AM PST I was completely bored today and had nothing to do.I like to be out on Saturdays , watch movies , do shopping or play some games but nothing of that sort took place so to cheer myself up I did this fun Christmas nail art design. :D:D I almost landed up drawing a Christmas tree on all my finger nails :D:D and added some snow fall also on them.:D  This is how I did this nail art design Step1 - Applied a transparent base coat on my nails (I use Maybelline colorma as my base coat ) and then applied Maybelline colorama Verde Palmeira on them.This one is a dark green colour which I use when ever I want to draw some leaves on my nails.  Step2 - Now with a thin brush (you can use old eyeliner brush or nail art brush) , draw thin diagonal lines, leave some space between them and fill the space with pink nail paint. Like so,  Step3 - Now with a yellow nail paint I tried making jingle bells  on the right tip of my nails.This I did with the nail art brush only .Take white nail paint and draw some snow flakes on the green nail paint and finish it off with shimmery transparent nail paint (I used colorbar exclusive nail paint 56). | Peeling mask/Peel mask - Easy home made pore peeling mask with step by step pictures Posted: 04 Dec 2010 01:14 AM PST Happy weekend guys !!! Well though it is not a very good weekend for me this time as hubby is not at home but I thought of utilizing my time and do some peel off mask or some facial mask kind of a thing.:D This peel of mask is by you tube guru Michelle and it works so beautifully.It is quiet easy to make this mask as you only require two things for this. If you think that store bought peel off mask are useful only then do try this one before you come to any conclusion. This peel off facial mask cleanse and revive the skin.Removes all dead skin cells which and helps in getting a glowing complexion. This is how we make this Take unflavored gelatin (You can get this is any shop which keeps baking items .I got this for Vijeta stores of Hyderabad ) Cost some 20-30 INR I guess.With this you need some milk .That is it .You don't require anything else. So here we go with the tutorial  Step1 - Take 1tsp of gelatin.  Now Microwave the gelatin and milk for 10 -15 seconds until well mixed and you get a pakora batter kind of consistency.Let it get cool for some 10-15 seconds and apply it on your T-zone and chin where you have black heads and white heads problem.(Please be careful mixture should neither be too hot that it burns your skin or too cold that it doesn't stick only to your skin)  Now wait for 3-4 minutes and peel it off. See my peel how easily it comes off ..   You can rinse off your face and pat dry it up after using the peel off mask. | Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow – Electric Pop & Black Magic swatches Posted: 04 Dec 2010 12:20 AM PST Creme Eyeshadow any one !!!I have never tried creme eye shadows and therefore bought Revlon Va Va bloom creme eyeshadow which I will review later after playing with them for a while.:) Here are the swatches of Electric pop and black magicPrice of Revlon Illuminance creme eyeshadow is Rs 485This one is Electric Pop 712 Here are the swatches of electric pop eye creme eyeshadow1. Sky blue2. Champagne with golden shimmer 3. Lemon green 4. Midnight blue  This one is Black magic creme eyeshadow  Swatches of Revlon Black magic Illuminance creme eyeshadow1. Baby pink2. Silvery white 3. Super black 4. Pure white  There was Copper coast creme eye shadow too which has copper , peach colour, dark brown and dull whiteI choose Va Va Bloom for myself as I wanted to try some different colour this time will share the swatches soon These eye shadow are some what similar to MAC paint pots which I reviewed last time.
