Good morning every one :)

So many of you  asked what green colour  eyeliner I am wearing in recent make up look so I thought of reviewing the eyeliner today .

 Price of Revlon color stay eyeliner is Rs 490  - This is the costliest eyeliner I have ever bought I guess.Revlon has increased its price because of its high demand and this is really sad.

What the Product claims: - Revlon Original Technology that prevents Smearing, Smudging and Fading, the new eyeliner pencil glides on as easily on eyes, adding drama and definition to your eyes. The soft core and rich silky coloring Substance makes it extremely easy to apply even on the inner Rim of the eye for a dramatic and stunning look. (From website)


This one is creamy ans stays for long hours.Sometimes when I wear eyeliner and because of its lack of staying power it fades away from the middle or some time from the corner and looks messy.This is the added advantage with this eyeliner.It stays put for long on my eyes therefore once I apply it I do not bother to re -apply it again.

I got glazed green for myself and I am liking it .It is creamy and glides on beautifully on my eyes.It lasts for around 4-5 hours easily on my oily eyelids and I use it mostly with light shade eyeshadow like pink , sea green , light blue etc.

You can see in the picture below how much I am using it .Tip has almost vanished and when I re sharpened it with my faces sharpener I didn't loose much of a product.

 Eyeliner hardly smudge and it is water proof too.It gets easily removed also by any make up remover.

This is how it looks on my eyes .It is super intense and creamy and in just one stroke it gives this kind of effect.

                      Sorry my eyeshadow creased in the pic and I didn't notice that.


Dislike - The biggest dislike of this eyeliner is that if I use it on waterline it stings like anything.I keep feeling it for 10 -15 minutes.I tried it twice and got the same result.This was told to me by many of you and it is absolutely right.

2. I don't like spending Rs500 on eyeliner please.

3. Pencil is quiet creamy and if I will use it constantly then I might end up finishing it in a month.


Recommendation - If you are looking for beautiful shades in eyeliner which stays put for long hours and are creamy then this is the one for you.On the other hand if you are looking for a black eyeliner who you can use on your lower lash line then avoid it.This one is meant for lining upper lash line only.

Kaya  toner - Kaya skin clinic revitalising tonic alcohol free daily dare toner 

I wanted to try this Toner because I heard a lot about the Kaya products; I ordered this online through their website & got it delivered in a week. This is my first online order for skin care! The Kaya clinic is just 5Kms away from my house & it hardly takes 30minutes to reach there and  order stuff but I was so eager to do online purchasing that I decided to just sit at home and  experience this online purchase! Also I saved Rs.40 INR! How??? I'll tell you how I did that!


What does Kaya claim about this toner: 

•  It reduces pore size to normal and thus helps complete the cleansing process.
•  This alcohol free toner with soothing botanicals like cucumber and witch hazel extract gently removes impurities and leaves the skin feeling refreshed, refined and comfortable.
•  It contains niacinamide, which helps in sebum-control instantly giving the skin a refreshing lift.

Suitable for: Normal, Oily and Combination skin.


Application: Dispense 3 to 4 pumps on a cotton pad. Should be used twice a day, morning as well as at night.

Price of Kaya revitalizing tonic daily care is  Rs.450 (INR) for 100 ML, Online Price is Rs 410 (Rs360+ Rs50 (shipping)). So this is how I saved Rs.40

My Experience with the Toner: As soon I applied this toner to my face, I experienced severe burning sensation, so I just splashed water and cleaned my face but I thought I'll try for few more times with the hope that it will work but it was awful every time I tried this! After trying 3 times I quit because it lead to severe itching and inflammation! 

PROS of the Kaya Toner: There are not too many good things about this toner that I want to talk about!

•    The packaging seems to be decent,  it comes in a plastic white colored bottle with a pump dispenser.

Cons of Kaya Toner: All that it claims is absolutely false! 

• Doesn't reduce the pore size!
• It is not alcohol free though it claims!
• Doesn't make the skin feel refreshed, refined and comfortable, doesn't give the skin a refreshing lift, it instantly make you feel uncomfortable.
• It gives severe irritation that lasts for a few days & makes the skin itchy & red!
•This is heavily scented, not suitable for a sensitive nose!
• It says it has soothing botanicals like cucumber and witch hazel extract, I don't think so! I think it has got lots of chemicals in it!
•It is not leak proof, can't be carried in a bag!
• Doesn't tone the skin at all.
• It is not priced economical.


Will I repurchase this: I'm not going to get this even if somebody gives this for free! Not at all worthy for that Rs 40 saving with the online order! TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!

Lakme jewel eyeliner - These eyeliner are from the bridal range of Lakme and have become quiet popular.They are intense and shimmery and look quiet attractive.

This is what the product claims :-Bejeweled eyes set ablaze by liquid gems. For eyes sparkling with festive preciousness.(From Lakme website)

Price of Lakme jewel eyeliner is Rs 225


Comes in attractive colours it is easy to apply them because of its nice thin brush.

So after doing all the Lakme Nine to five day perfect lip color range swatches and picking up Almond Ice its time to review it.As there were too many requests for the review I wore the lip shade continuously   and while writing the review also I am wearing it :D:D

Yes , Lakme has done it !!! :) this Lipstick stays all day long on my lips .Even if I have my lunch it stays on me unlike Lakme enrich colour classic

Price of the lipstick is Rs 550



Lakme has mixed range and some are really dark such as crimson affair , Black current sorbet , purple haze etc and some are little toned downed such as dusk sparkle. I got Almond Ice for myself though pinks is always a priority but now I have too many pinks with me so I thought let me try some browns.

Likes 

1. This lipstick is quiet creamy and one doesn't need to build on the color at all.I just apply it once and I am all set to go.

2. Staying power of the lipstick is great .It is almost similar to Revlon colorburst .I have my lunch and tea and still it stays on.

3.It doesn't bleed or stains though looking at it is creamy consistency it might  bleed in summers.

4.It has a lock kind of a system and therefore once I use it and put the cover back it doesn't open up easily.This system is particularly good for those who carry lipstick in their bag and travel around.

5. It is highly pigmented.

6. Lipsticks range is best suited for night wear because most of them have quiet a bit of shimmer in them.
 
Dislike:-

1. I feel little heavy when I wear  it and of course price of the lipstick is high when compared to other Lakme lipstick range.

2. It is little drying for me or may be I compulsory need a lip balm before applying a lipstick now.


3. In swatches the color looks different and on my lips it looks  different .Don't know why

4. If you are looking for light shades then this range is not for you.There are no nudes and pinks as such.

5.Though I find packaging quiet regal but if I get another pair of this then I will be spending lot of time in opening the lipstick and checking out the shade.



Will I recommend to others - If you don't like doing touch ups and are fond of dark shades and creamy lipstick then they are a good buy for sure.

Highly recommended to those women who are office going or spend long hours outside
