Recipe Mushroom rice

If you have read some of my recipe then you would have come to know how big a fan of mushroom I am.I keep experimenting with this vegetable and it some how always works for me.Mushroom quiche, mushroom masala, pasta and mushroom soup and corn and mushroom pizza are few of my favorite recipes which I have shared with you.There are few more which I will share with in during my wise she journey ahead.

Before reading this recipe I must warn you that this one is reallllly spicy so if you want to make it for kids then keep some boiled rice separately and mix it with the mushroom rice later. This will reduces the hot spicy flavor of the rice.

  Instant   Mushroom rice

As usual it took me some 20minutes in preparing this recipe but 20 minutes doesn't make a recipe as Instant .Spending 20 minutes is surely an effort for me in my kitchen so I didn't name it as Instant mushroom recipe

Here goes the Ingredients

1tsp. cumin seeds(jeera)
1tbsp tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tbsp. briyani masala or pao bhaji masala
1 tbsp ghee or butter
salt to taste

Step1 - Take a heavy pan and heat ghee/oil in it.Add cumin seeds and tej patta in it.Add the grinded masala of onion and saute it till it is golden brown in colour.

Step2 - Add mushroom and cook till they leave water.While cooking the mushroom add salt, turmeric powder, briyani masala/pao bhaji masala and fry it.

Step3 - Add tomato puree and and ketchup in it.

Step4 - If you need water then sprinkle some at this stage and if your mushroom has left lot of water then let the water evaporate.

Step5 - Mix the boiled rice

Serve hot with curd or raita.

Dove shampoo review - Though Dove is now entering into the market with it is new range so I thought of reviewing the previous one.I have oily hair and I wash my hair 3-4 times a week .I do apply oil in my hair most of the time so cleaning so much oil from my hair is quiet an task for any shampoo .Before this I used Pantene pro-vitamin which was not able to remove the oil at all.I don't know why God blessed me with drums of oil.It is on my skin ,hair , body and in food too. and on top of that I keep experimenting with oils.May be I was working in a oil company in my last  birth I guess :D

Aroma Magic Almond Under Eye Cream- Since a long time I have been facing the problem of dark circles around the eyes, keeping potato or cucumber slices on the eyes helped a lot. But I'm a very lazy person so to avoid the task of taking out cucumber and  cutting it into slices and  placing them on the eyes, I decided I will try something easier and less time consuming than this, I searched different blogs and saw people praising Blossom Kocchar products. So I decided to buy my first ever under eye cream and bought the Aroma Magic Almond Under Eye Cream because of the fact that almond oil can diminish dark circles under the eyes.

 but I'm completely disappointed after using this cream. In fact I understood that a product works differently for different skin types and also realised that laziness can lead to a lot of damage! Trust me when I say this!

What does Aroma Magic Under Eye cream claims: Vit A, B and C give excellent tone and suppleness and minimize wrinkles and rings around eyes.

Active Ingredients: Extracts of Lemon Peel, Almond, Bach, Grape Seed, Apricot and pure essential oils of Carrot, Palmarosa, Fennel and rose.

Lemon peel also acts as a skin lightener, which is perfect for those who tan a lot or have naturally uneven tones

Bach is useful for scars and  marks.

Grape seed oil is a preferred cosmetic ingredient for control of skin moisturization.

Apricot oil is high in Vitamin E; it is used for skin massage. It has skin softening properties and when massaged the oil gets absorbed completely, without leaving any trace of its oily nature on the skin.

Carrot seed oil is one of the main ingredients used in tanning lotions as it enhances the skins ability to tan.

Palmarosa is helpful for dry, undernourished skin conditions. Palmarosa is cooling and anti-inflammatory making it applicable for wrinkles, dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis.

Fennel essential oil is used for its soothing, cleansing and toning effects on the skin, while at the same time improving circulation and fighting water retention and puffiness.

Directions to use Blossom Kochhar's Almond Under Eye Cream: Gently pat the cream around the eyes with finger tips and wipe off with damp cotton after 20 minutes.

My Experience with the Under Eye cream: This is a white colored cream which comes in a small tube & is thick in texture. As soon as I applied it the rich scent made me feel nauseating .The first time I used it I used a generous amount which made my eyes sting. It spreads easily so you just need one drop for each. If the skin around the eyes is dry or broken this will result in inflammation. I have used this cream for about ten times,I did not see any change in the dark circle but after sometime I noticed MILIA near the eyes.

MILIA or a Milium (plural milia), also called a milk spot or an oil seed is a keratin-filled cyst that can appear just under the epidermis. This is how it looks! This image is from google.

The MILIA looks so bad that I regret buying this cream.I generally have a feeling that products that are heavily scented don't deliver good results. 

This is not suitable for people with sensitive skin because of the presence of heavily scented oils.

This did not deliver the results it claimed. It did not provide any suppleness to skin around the eyes nor did it minimize the rings around the eyes. 

I'm so appalled right now because I don't know any way I could get rid of them, I'll have to visit the Dermatologist I guess.

I will not recommend this to anyone because I'm not sure if this will work for anybody!
