The Registered Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of care utilizing the ANA and ARN Standards of Nursing Practice and the nursing process. Delegates and assists the Rehabilitation Assistant appropriately in implementing patient care. Provides support,  information, education, and direct patient care to patients and family members. Utilizes equipment, technology and evidence based nursing practice.  Educates patients, significant caregivers on medical and self-care issues.  Functions as a member of  the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.  Practices in accordance of ANA/ ARN Standards of Care,  Maryland Nurse Practice Act and ARHM policies.
